Marc Sherratt is a Tokyo-based artist working across pencil, ink, paint, and iPad.
His visual language is shaped by fantasy art, manga, Asian aesthetics, 2000AD, and Heavy Metal-era illustration.
His work focuses on character, atmosphere, and presence — from fast live studies to fully developed figurative paintings.
For the last seven years, Marc has been co-organiser and MC of Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Tokyo — a live drawing event where artists sketch performers in themed costumes, burlesque, and cabaret-inspired sessions. It’s part life drawing, part performance, and one of the most energetic art communities in Japan.
