Artist Notes
This piece is a Xena fan art study that begins as pencil work and is finished with digital colour. For this work, I was intentionally exploring a digitally coloured pencil-sketch look inspired by Japanese artist Rockin’ Jelly Bean.
The focus was on preserving hand-drawn line character while using colour to push contrast, shape clarity, and visual impact.
